The Who

Thw who were formed in London UK way back in the 1960's by guitarist and songwriter Pete Townsend with lead singer Roger Daltry and drummer keith Moon, they first rose to fame playing their style of heavy rock music at festivals like woodstock and the Isle of Wight. They also had a couple of rock films called Tommy and Quadrophenia before being elevated to the status of rock gods in the same stratosphere as the likes of Led Zeppelin. After the tragic death of drummer keith Moon, the band struggled to find their feet but still survive until this day, occasionally touring to packed audiences.
